The rotor speed of a three-phase asynchronous motor is lower than the speed of the rotating magnetic field. Due to the relative movement between the rotor winding and the magnetic field, electromotive force and current are generated, and the interaction with the magnetic field generates electromagnetic torque to realize energy conversion.
