HM 162.52 Level Gauge Vocational Trainer Workbench Educational Laboratory Bench Fluid Mechanics Experiment Equipment 1.Description
It is important to know the discharge depth for many experiments in open channel flow. The discharge depth can be measured using the level gauge HM 162.52.
The core element of HM 162.52 is a probe tip or a hook. The instrument travels vertically. The discharge depth is directly read on a scale. The probe tip is made in way enabling to easily observe when the tip touches the water surface.
Alternatively to the probe tip, a hook can be used. To measure the discharge depth, the tip of the hook breaks through the water surface from below.
HM 162.52 is mounted on the moveable instrument carrier HM 162.59 so it can be used along the length and width of the experimental section.
