HM 150A Base Module for Experiments in Fluid Mechanics Educational Equipment Hydraulic Workbench
1. Equipment introduction
1.1 Overview
The basic hydraulic test bench HM 150A and various auxiliary modules form a comprehensive laboratory facility, which enables detailed fluid mechanics laboratories. The hydraulic test bench unit provides basic pumping and volumetric measurements of the water supply with which all additional accessories and experiments are performed. The basic hydraulic workbench HM 150A is used for education, training and research purposes. It is not designed for industrial use.
1.2 Features
The unit's work surface is fiberglass and molded to provide a recessed area for mounting experiments. An integral overflow tank is provided, as well as a volume measuring tank. The measuring tank is divided into steps to accurately measure high and low flow rates. A level indicator provides easy reading of the flow rate. The measuring tank drains through a valve into a fiberglass collection tank. An overflow pipe is provided. An electric motor drives a submersible motor pump that delivers water to outlets on the work surface for connection to individual experiments. The materials used in the construction of the test bench and its modules have been carefully selected to minimize corrosion problems. The entire unit is self-contained and removable. For low volume measurements, use a 2-liter measuring cup.
