HM 150.04A Centrifugal Pump Vocational Training Equipment Fluids Engineering Training Equipment
I.Product Overview
1.1 Overview
Centrifugal pumps are turbines used to convey fluids. The HM 150.04A device can be used to investigate centrifugal pumps and to record typical pump characteristic curves. The experimental device consists of a self-priming centrifugal pump, a ball valve on the outlet side and pressure gauges on the inlet and outlet sides. It is driven by an asynchronous motor. The speed can be adjusted steplessly by a frequency converter. The ball valve is used to adjust the head. In the experiment, the operating characteristics of the pump are investigated as a function of the flow rate and are displayed as a characteristic curve. The speed and power of the motor are displayed digitally. The pressures on the inlet and outlet sides are displayed on two pressure gauges. The experimental device can be easily and safely placed on the working surface of the HM 150 base module. The pump draws water from a tank on the base module HM 150A. The flow rate is determined by the return flow into the measuring tank on the HM 150A.
